I met Jane earlier last year at a food court downtown. We started talking about her wedding & how she envisioned everything being played out. Nearly a year later when it came to her wedding, it was highly impressive how accurately she was able to pull off her vision of her ideal wedding. Everything went according to plan & she was her own wedding's planner. Hats off!
We started the day at her place while her three beautiful excited bridesmaids watched Jane get her swag on. One thing I love about bridesmaids & groomsmen is how everyone matches, even when there is a start contrast in colors, somehow it just comes together. I remember the look on Jane's face when she put her wedding dress on. Some brides cry, other brides get excited. There was something about the way Jane felt when it hit her that she's getting married; I can't put my finger on it. Happy? Content? Pleased with life?
The Church was stunning. Massive ceilings with old architecture. I'm an old architecture junkie! The ceremony was beyond perfect & the day just began. We then went to the Scarborough Golf Club where I had the time of my life. I've always wanted to drive one of those golf carts & I think I was more excited about driving one of those than taking photos! The whole bridal party was such a breeze to photograph. They were all hilarious & so natural in front of the camera. All I had to tell them was to have a blast and judging by the photos, they sure did!
The reception was shortly after the park shoot at the same venue. The rustic ceilings with the contemporary decor..I was in heaven. Mom's and Dad's speeches were touching. The entrances were funny..everything from the Robot dance to the Gangnam style! I had a blast and it was evident that so did every one. Thank you for having us tell your wedding story Jane & Nick!
Enjoy the Moments...
